Unidentified reconnaissance vessel

This reconnaissance vessel was a rocket-like hyperspace-capable starship. Prior to the Battle of Jakku, Alliance Admiral Gial Ackbar dispatched a group of these vessels to investigate reports of an Imperial Star Destroyer near Jakku, with support from the New Republic's 77 Squadron of X-wing starfighters. In the skirmish that followed, the fighters protected the ships from TIE fighters and took out the Star Destroyer before the entire group jumped to hyperspace.
