Unidentified Venator-class Star Destroyer (Death Star)

A Venator-class Star Destroyer was used by the Galactic Empire during the early stage of its reign. It was present during the construction of the Death Star in orbit of Geonosis. Newly constructed by Corellian Shipyards, the Star Destroyer lacked the red markings present on others of its kind seen during the preceding Clone Wars, instead adopting a grey aesthetic. The Venator ferried Galactic Emperor Sheev Palpatine, his Sith apprentice Darth Vader, and Moff Wilhuff Tarkin to the Death Star for an inspection of the under construction battle station. The destroyer was assigned to defend the incomplete battle station.
