Vortex Wind was a Mon Calamari Star Cruiser in service to the Galactic Alliance. This powerful warship was part of a task force commanded by Wedge Antilles during the latter part of the Yuuzhan Vong War, in conjunction with Operation Trinity. Along with the Star Destroyer Mon Mothma, Vortex Wind destroyed a Yuuzhan Vong warship. She survived the battle.
The ship may have been named for the planet Vortex, a member world of the New Republic.
