The Ace-6 droid brain, also known as the Ace-6 fighter unit, or simply Ace-6 unit, was a model of droid brain produced by Cybot Galactica. The units were used by the Imperial Remnant and the reborn Palpatine in the TIE/D automated starfighter. The units weighed less than ten kilograms and could be installed into any starfighter with a compatible computer interface. Advanced logic circuits were meant to give the droid brains the ability to produce the same kind of performance of organic pilots, although actual combat records indicated that living pilots were still superior.

Although more advanced than the droid brains used by the Confederacy of Independent Systems during the Clone Wars, they were no match for living pilots. The production of the TIE/D was halted due to the Remnant concluding that droids lacked the quick thinking and wit of living beings.
