Booster

Boosters was a type of component that could provide a sudden burst of speed to a starship. By 3 ABY, a set of boosters had been added to the EML-850 light freighter, Trailblazer. Later that same year while searching for the treasure of the Khepi in the Sayma Nebula an ion discharge struck the Trailblazer causing the boosters to go offline. The BX-series droid commando ND-5 managed to divert power to the boosters allowing the ships pilot Kay Vess to boost through the ion clouds of the nebula.
