The C-136 was a land-based ion cannon produced by Speizoc Arms. Intended for use against targets such as cities and other infrastructure, the C-136 was also capable of striking targets in low-orbit. The C-136 was effective against the less refined deflector shield designs of the time it was designed in, but the weapon became obsolete as the effectiveness of shield technology increased.
