The Central poise steering system was a steering system installed on speeder bikes. The S-57 Cardinal model of speeder bike had the system installed for standard. In 3 ABY, the thief Kay Vess stole a EML-850 light freighter from Westhill Palace in the city of Canto Bight on the planet Cantonica. A S57 Cardinal speeder bike had been stored in the light freighter by the time of the theft. After Vess piloted the stolen freighter to the moon Toshara, she regularly used the speeder bike.
Vess later paid to replace the central poise steering system with a CP-0 steering system and eventually an A-7 steering system
