The Cotterdam Universal Airlock was manufactured by the Tagge Company. Consisting of a flexible tube with an interior ladder or walkway, the Cotterdam ended in a multi-lock ring that was positioned onto the hull of a starship. The multi-lock ring had three sets of surface-to-surface sealing methods; pressure, chemical, and magnetic.
