Crystal of the Founders

The Crystal of the Founders was a fictional object that allowed an individual on At Attin to bypass the communication jamming effects of the Barrier surrounding the planet. Around 9 ABY the youngling Wim created a story about the crystal to distract the pirate Jod Na Nawood so his father, Wendle could sneak past Na Nawood and restore power in the city and release the docking clamps preventing the Onyx Cinder from taking off. In the story Wim claimed that his group of friends found the crystal guarded by an ancient warrior in the northern mountains. Not believing the story Na Nawood, started to turn away, but before he could see Wendle, a youngling named Fern speaks up and continues the distraction, stating that Wim found the crystal awhile ago. The distraction worked and Wendle was able to restore power.
