The CX-3.1 hologram recorder was a model of high-density holorecorder manufactured by Corellidyne Visuals. The unit had a data intake capability that was a thousand times greater than other holorecorders on the market, allowing it to perfectly replicate the movement and appearance of a recorded subject. The CQ-3.9x holographic image disguiser relied on a CX-3.1 hologram recorder to record the image of a person or object to be projected.
