A garrote chrono was a type of specialized melee weapon designed for use by field agents. It was composed of a retractable, spun durasteel garrote concealed within a chronometer. Due to its concealed nature, a garrote chrono gave its user constant access to a weapon, even when being searched or disarmed. They cost 100 credits on the market and were popular among assassins and undercover agents.
