Hired gun droid

Hired gun droids were a type of enforcer droid used by pirate groups and criminal syndicates in the galaxy's Outer Rim Territories during the Galactic Civil War.

By 3 ABY, one such droid worked at the Alcazar cantina on the Outer Rim planet Akiva, and another had begun operating a moisture farm on the desert planet Tatooine. By the same year,. the head of a hired gun droid had been stored in a Hutt Cartel bunkhouse in the Desert Valley of Tatooine and the part of the head of a droid had been stored in a container on the Trailblazer, an EML-850 light freighter in possession of the crime lord Sliro Ruback.

In 3 ABY, the thief Kay Vess stole the Trailblazer from Ruback's palace after failing to rob his vault. She later recovered the droid part from its container onboard the light freighter. Vess later visited the Hutt Cartel bunkhouse where she stole the droid head.
