Unidentified moisture farm (debt collector)

A droid owned a moisture farm located in the Great Chott salt flat region of the Outer Rim planet Tatooine, south west of the town of Wayfar. By 3 ABY, a group of Jawas had pilfered the farm's equipment causing the droid to be unable to harvest enough water to play the water tax to the Hutt Cartel, a galactic crime syndicate that controlled parts of the planet. At least two beings with the cartel had tried to collect the missing payment by the same year, but ultimately left empty handed.

Later in 3 ABY, a Sullustan tax collector recruited the scoundrel Kay Vess to collect the tax from the droid for them, claiming to have more important things to do than collect it themselves. Agreeing to help, Vess later traveled to the moisture farm a met the droid moisture farmer who explained the reason he was unable to pay tax. To prevent the Hutts from sending more collectors, the droid to suggest that Vess return with some scrap droid parts that they had, show them to the Hutts, and claim that she was forced to destroy the droid. Agreeing to the deception, Vess returned to the Sullustan who believed the lie.
