Hyperspace compass

A hyperspace compass allowed starships to navigate by orienting on the center of the galaxy. These devices often served as backups in case of navigation computer failure, and could be used in both hyperspace and realspace. In 10 ABY, lizard-like alien tried to sell the compass to Han Solo, speaking in Huttese language, to which Han replied that he doesn't need hyperspace compass and told him to "buzz off". Powerful twin bonds, like those of Jaina and Jacen Solo, could send ionic discharges that reoriented core-relative compasses.
