Light globes were hovering spherical illumination devices that produced soft light which could be seen from thirty meters away. The globes were notably used in 18 BBY by the Kilji species' government, the Kilji Illumine. Several light globes were used to light a meeting room aboard the Kilji war cruiser Whetstone.
