Low-feedback scanner

The low-feedback scanner was a model of sensor manufactured by CryonCorp for species with sensitivity to the electromagnetic spectrum, such as the Gotal. It was created with passive collection technologies to stop migraines and other effects for those affected by the spectrum. The scanner was invisible to Imperial sensor sweeps, making it ideal for the Alliance to Restore the Republic's special forces.

In 1 BBY, during the Galactic Civil War between the Alliance to Restore the Republic and the Galactic Empire, CryonCorp CEO and rebel sympathizer Belaya Rist witnessed the destruction of Alderaan from the nearby astrological object Delaya while inspecting new manufacturing facilities built there. In response to the death of her close ally Bail Prestor Organa, she invited the Rebel Alliance to hijack a shipment of low-feedback scanners.
