The ME/7 double laser cannon was a laser cannon produced by the Corellian Engineering Corporation. The same model was equipped to the luxury sail barge Khetanna. After an attempted rescue of Han Solo in 4 ABY, Jabba the Hutt sentenced all those involved to death via the Sarlacc in the Great Pit of Carkoon. Luke Skywalker and the enslaved Leia Organa were able to escape, with Organa aiming one of these cannons at the deck of the Khetanna, and Skywalker firing it. The resulting explosion destroyed the entire ship.
