Star Wars: Return of the Jedi is a paperback junior novelization of Star Wars: Episode VI Return of the Jedi. It was released on May 4, 2017, in honor of the 40th anniversary of A New Hope theatrical release.
The book updates the Star Wars Legends Star Wars: Episode VI Return of the Jedi junior novelization, which was written by Ryder Windham. Egmont editor Emil Fortune edited the book to make it fit with the current canon.
