The MSE-4 was an experimental droid in the MSE series produced by Rebaxan Columni and inspired by the chak-chak, a type of rodent. At least five MSE-4s were present in the Klegger Corp Mining Facility on the planet Mustafar when the Sith Lord Darth Vader arrived there to eliminate the leadership of the Confederacy of Independent Systems in 19 BBY.
