A multi-tool, also spelled multitool, was a device that could serve as nearly any tool a user needed by telescoping out different prongs or replacing different heads. It was versatile and could be fitted in a utility belt. Some models of multi-tools consisted of a handle with a head, visually similar to some models of fusioncutters. Trace Martez wore a simpler looking cylindrical multi-tool on her belt for repairing machinery during the time near the end of the Clone Wars. Temmin Wexley owned one during his time on Akiva. ArmaTek manufactured a model of multi-tool. Multi-tool hands were cybernetics similar to multi-tools.
