A fusioncutter, sometimes spelled fusion cutter, was a type of handheld cutting and welding torch with an energy blade that was commonly found in toolkits. After the battles with the Galactic Republic, EV-A4-D, General Grievous's personal medical droid, frequently repaired the cyborg's body. When Grievous's face mask needed to be replaced, it must be cruelly removed from his face with a fusion cutter.
