Murchason ring stress analyzer

A Murchason ring stress analyzer was a type of silver-colored stress analyzer that consisted of a tube-shaped body with a spring-shaped protrusion extending from the top. In his home in the city of Mos Espa on the planet Tatooine, the enslaved boy Anakin Skywalker kept a Murchason ring stress analyzer on a ledge next to the workbench in his bedroom.

In 32 BBY, Skywalker was using the workbench to build the protocol droid C-3PO, whose head rested on the ledge next to the stress analyzer as Skywalker brought Queen Padmé Amidala and the astromech droid R2-D2 in to his room to show off the protocol droid. When Skywalker later left Tatooine to join the Jedi Order, the stress analyzer was not amongst the possessions he packed to take with him.
