A neural inhibitor was a device fitted to P'w'eck crews aboard Fe'Sen-class picket ships. They were designed to stun and disable any P'w'eck that refused to obey orders, allowing the Ssi-ruu to remotely punish their thralls for disobedience.
They were also used to control Tedellian besiioth when they were used as guard beasts. Due to the feral nature of the species, they could not be trained and had to be controlled via neural inhibitors.
