An overrider was an electronic device that could be used to open locked doors. Jedi Master Relin Druur used an overrider to break into the Harbinger hyperdrive chamber during his infiltration of the ship in 5000 BBY. He later used an overrider to break into the freighter Junker, after inadvertently and unknowingly traveling through time to 41 ABY after being caught up in the draft of the Harbinger failed hyperspace jump when the ship tried to flee his attack.
