Rebel heavy battle armor

Rebel heavy battle armor was type of heavy battle armor used by the Alliance to Restore the Republic's military during the Galactic Civil War against the Galactic Empire. It was used by rebel troopers to help ensure their survival when outmanned by superior Imperial forces during battle. The armor provided its user with heavy protection, while still providing them with freedom of movement.

The heavy battle armor was created with a combination of composite, laminate, and armored clothing that provided significant protection. Its base layer was made out of armorweave cloth which could dissipate blaster bolts. Plastoid segments were place on top to help protect against fragmentation and blunt force. The armor was also equipped with a helmet-fitted breath mask and a respirator.
