Security arches were used during the Imperial Era to secure buildings. A security arch was used by Rask Odai to secure the Twin Horns Storage building. When the Graf siblings Lina and Milo Graf tried to break into the building, Shalla Mondatha tricked the Rodian Rom into leaving visible marks on the keypad of the security arch making Shalla able to take a picture of the code that could turn off the security system. With that code the Grafs were able to break into the building retrieve the stolen head of CR-8R.
