The sound dampening stealth unit, also called an SD belt, was a type of stealth belt that improved on the basic version. It worked by dampening all sounds made by the user, thus making them harder to detect. It was a Republic design, but was utilized by the Czerka Corporation. It could be bought from vendors across the galaxy for about two hundred credits.
By 3951 BBY, a model of the belt was manufactured by Aratech Repulsor Company, and could be purchased for three hundred credits from vendors throughout the galaxy.
