The Thermal Devastator was a grenade-like incendiary explosive which was in use during at least 3630 BBY. Feared among the galaxy for its potency, the Devastator's effects were twofold: first lighting the immediate area around it ablaze before emitting a concussive wave which launched enemies through the air. The Commander of the Eternal Alliance utilized Thermal Devastators while defending against a series of uprisings which occurred following the fall of the Eternal Empire.
