Vagaari pod

The Vagaari species put their prisoners in pods located on their warships' hulls to discourage counterattacks. The pods were known to the nation of the Chiss species, the Chiss Ascendancy, in which stories of them circulated. Around 18 BBY, after a skirmish with several marauders' gunboats, the Chiss heavy cruiser Springhawk crew attempted to recover body samples from the wreckage of the gunboats it destroyed; however, no remains of any body were found, which led the Springhawk Caregiver Mitth'ali'astov to remember the Vagaari pods' stories. She then shared that with her commander, Senior Captain Mitth'raw'nuruodo, who verified the stories the caregiver had heard.
