Welding goggles

Welding goggles were a type of goggles that protected the eyes. A pair of welding goggles was worn by podracer mechanic Lana Dobreed in 32 BBY.

By 3 ABY, the smuggler Han Solo had at least one pair of welding goggles aboard the Millennium Falcon, his YT-1300 light freighter. That year, Princess Leia Organa used a pair while helping repair the Millennium Falcon while it was hiding from the Galactic Empire in the Hoth asteroid field.
