Scout IV

A Scout IV was a game piece used in the Canto Pass game that resembled a pair of welding goggles. It was a boon piece that granted the player one point, as well as an extra point for each additional Scout piece the player had. By 3 ABY, one such piece had been stashed in a container in an abandoned cantina next to the Bosan Mound rock formation in Mirogana Valley on the Outer Rim moon Toshara.

That year, the thief Kay Vess used an ion module equipped on her blaster to gain entry to the abandoned cantina. She then accessed the cantina's backroom with the help of Nix, her merqaal companion, where she found the container and took the Scout IV game piece.
