WW-41 CryoBan grenade

The WW-41 CryoBan grenade, known simply as the WW-41 grenade, was a model of grenade manufactured by Merr-Sonn Munitions, Inc. It was initially designed to put out fires aboard starships and space stations by spraying CryoBan, one of the chemical compounds used in carbon-freezing. The grenade resembled a short, blue baton with a ring at its smaller end. The WW-41 grenade was an excellent area denial weapon, as it could do damage to a living organism through frostbite, nerve damage, and shock.
