The A5-RX Spread-Missile Battle Platform, as named by Clone Sergeant Gaffa, was a ground vehicle created by the clone engineers of the Combat Engineer Battalion, made from parts of an A5-RX battle tank. It was capable of launching multiple missiles and was operated by at least two clone troopers. After skirmish ensued on the Twilight between Galactic Republic and Separatist forces, Sergeant Gaffa devised a plan. As their Jedi leaders General Obi-Wan Kenobi and Commander Ahsoka Tano bought them time by fending off the approaching B1-series battle droids, the troopers of the Engineer Battalion took parts from their inoperable A5-RX battle tank and created the battle platform to destroy the droid forces.
