The EasyRide passenger airspeeder, was a model of open-air repulsorcraft airspeeder manufactured by the Hyrotii Corporation. The EasyRide model was comparable to Hyrotii's ComfortRide passenger airspeeder, with the main difference being that the EasyRide was shorter in length. Both the EasyRide and the ComfortRide were commonly used as air taxis on the ecumenopolis Coruscant which gave both the names Coruscant air taxis or Coruscant taxi and were one of the planet's most characteristic sights. They were piloted by trained taxi drivers to ferry their passengers from one destination to another and were allowed unrestricted "free travel" that allowed them to leave the official autonavigated skylanes that confined most other vehicles on long journeys along defined corridors to prevent unmanageable traffic chaos and also utilized airbus lanes.
