The Flare-S swoop, also known as the S-swoop, was a high-performance, one-pilot sport swoop manufactured by Mobquet Swoops and Speeders.
Shortly before Anakin Skywalker won the Boonta Eve Classic, several S-swoops were seen in the spaceport of Mos Espa on Tatooine.
One day in 1 BBY, as Luke Skywalker and Obi-Wan Kenobi arrived in Mos Eisley and headed for Chalmun's Spaceport Cantina, a recklessly-piloted S-swoop startled a ronto on Corporations Road, forcing the creature to rear to avoid a collision.
