The R-2000 Raptor speeder bike was a model of speeder bike manufactured by Ikas-Adno. It was an attempt to create a speeder bike with the performance and style of a swoop. The speeder was barely more than an engine and control vanes, and the pilot was perched at the very end of the chassis. This increased performance by allowing a larger engine with a higher heat exhaust and gave the pilot more leverage with which to steer the bike. The basic design for the R-2000 was completed during the Imperial Era, but the prototypes were unsafe to drive and a usable design was only created after the Battle of Endor in 4 ABY. Although more rarer than the Ikas-Adno's 22-B Nightfalcon, the R-2000 Raptor enjoyed increased popularity with time and could ultimately be found in almost every known sector of the galaxy. At some point, a modified R-2000 was driven by a Weequay swoop gang leader while on the run.
