Ardus Kaine

Ardus Kaine was a Human Grand Moff who founded the Pentastar Alignment, and was the successor of Wilhuff Tarkin as Grand Moff of Oversector Outer following Tarkin's death at the Battle of Yavin. His flagship was the Reaper. Following the Battle of Endor, Kaine became a breakaway Imperial warlord but soon gathered local leaders from the Velcar Free Commerce Zone and established the Pentastar Alignment, an isolationist political conglomerate in the Outer Rim without interference from the newly-formed New Republic.

During Grand Admiral Thrawn's return from the galaxy, Kaine allied with him and contributed some forces to his campaign but did not officially join him.
