The Thrawn campaign, also known as the Thrawn crisis, was a series of innovative military and political maneuvers executed by Grand Admiral Thrawn and his confederation in 9 ABY in his bid to restore the fallen Galactic Empire. Thrawn's attacks nearly toppled the New Republic, as well as posing as its first major internal and external conflict.
Thrawn referred to his offensive as the "Mount Tantiss campaign," since two key elements of the campaign were pieces of technology he had located inside Emperor Palpatine's private storehouse inside Mount Tantiss on Wayland.
