Chelli Lona Aphra

Chelli Lona Aphra, also known as "Smallfry," was a human female archaeologist. Born in 24 BBY as the daughter of Korin and Lona Aphra, she learned much about the galaxy due to Korin's scholarly ambitions. Korin was particularly interested in the Jedi Order as well as the ancient Ordu Aspectu, but when his work began to consume his life, the neglected Lona took Aphra with her to live on the planet Arbiflux. When Lona was killed by raiders who had been instructed by the Galactic Empire to cause a chaos that would result in an Imperial takeover, Aphra was taken by the Empire and returned to her father's residence. Wanting no part in her neglectful parent's life, Aphra attempted to burn down his house before striking out on her own.

She later became a student at the University of Bar'leth, making strides towards an archaeology doctorate. During her time at university, she would make connections with individuals like Sana Starros, who she was briefly romantically involved with, Eustacia Okka, a future Shadow University professor, and Kho Phon Farrus. Aphra would fraudulently achieve her degree after blackmailing her hated professor, Sava Toob-Nix, who had also developed a hatred for her. After Aphra went on an unremarkable research trip to Boothi XII and Toob-Nix taunted Aphra with his illegal, mind-controlling abersyn symbiote parasites, Aphra stole the symbiotes and re-located them to the Boothi XII vault to make it appear as if she had made a breakthrough discovery. Toob-Nix was unable to expose her trickery without exposing his own illegal activities, and thus, Aphra achieved her doctorate.

After the Battle of Yavin, Aphra would be recruited by the Sith Lord Darth Vader after he witnessed her droid customization handiwork while slaughtering a group of pirates. Aphra, along with her assassin droid companions, the protocol droid assassin 0-0-0 and the BT-1 assassin droid "Blastomech" prototype BT-1, fulfilled several missions for the Dark Lord of the Sith. She helped him build an army artificially intelligent droid commandos, assisted in combating Doctor Cylo, an Imperial scientist who sought to replace Vader at the Emperor's side, and even thwart Rebel Alliance forces on Vrogas Vas. However, as her work became increasingly dangerous and Vader became a less reliable ally, Aphra plotted to find a way out of their partnership. However, it was Vader who betrayed her first. Wanting to eliminate her due to how much knowledge she had, Vader Force-choked Aphra and sent her out an airlock to her death. However, Aphra was rescued by Triple-Zero, Beetee, and the Wookiee bounty hunter Black Krrsantan, whom Aphra had built a tenuous trust with during her adventures.

Now an enemy of the Empire, Aphra resumed her treasure-hunting and archaeological quests. Sometime after a mission to locate the Sword of Khashyun, she was approached by her father, who wanted to help her get her doctorate, which had recently been suspended following the truth of her symbiote plot being revealed, restored. Aphra reluctantly joined forces with Korin, and after discovering the Citadel of Rur, claimed the Rur Crystal, a computer core that contained the consciousness of the ancient Force-sensitive Rur.
