Crane (princess)

Crane was a human female princess. Orphaned and exiled following the destruction of her kingdom by the Empire, she later became an operative for the Rebellion. Her childhood guardian was the astromech droid Tor-Tu, who remained her companion and partner in the Rebellion. He could transform into mechanical armor that allowed Crane to fly. While stationed at a secret rebel base on the planet Joetz, Crane and Tor-Tu tracked Imperial operations in the area. While conducting a reconnaissance mission, the pair rescued Woopas, the only survivor of an Imperial attack on a village in the planet's polar region. When they encountered an enormous Imperial mining crawler and its walker escorts, Crane had Tor-Tu engage his armor mode, which allowed her to destroy the entire force and end the Imperial occupation of the planet.
