Eeko-Dio Daki

Eeko-Dio Daki was a male Mosyk Jedi Master who lived in the galaxy before and during the Imperial Era. The Twi'lek Devon Izara studied as Daki's Padawan during the final days of the Galactic Republic, and they went on the run together in the wake of Order 66, to escape the newly formed Galactic Empire's Great Jedi Purge. Hiding on the Mid Rim world of Janix together by 17 BBY, Izara was arrested when she attempted to steal food for her Master, who insisted that the strangers could always help them. She was then kidnapped from the Police HQ of Janix Civil Defense by Maul, a former Sith turned renegade crime lord out for revenge and seeking a new apprentice. Daki attempted to rescue his Padawan, but Maul forced him to choose to save civilians instead by collapsing a pedestrian walkway. Izara later escaped Maul's safe house by herself and when reunited with Daki, she insisted that Maul should be brought to justice by the Jedi alongside Tactical Defense Force. Having tipped off Captain Lawson, Daki and Izara went on to fight Maul during the raid on his safe house, but the former Sith Lord gained the upper hand and spared them. After the unsuccessful raid, 2B0T informed the Galactic Empire of Maul's presence on Janix, and soon the Empire occupied the planet.

As they tried to leave the planet, Rylee Lawson invited Izara and Daki to stay at his apartments. When the First Brother tracked them down with the Force, the Jedi fought the Inquisitor and got separated, with Lawson and Daki searching through the city for Izara and Rylee. Izara, unbeknownst to Daki, was saved from the First Brother by Maul, who brought them to his new safe house, which was tracked down by the Empire soon after. Maul and his Shadow Collective faced the Imperial Forces while Devon lost Rylee to Imperials and ran back into the subway and reunited with her Master and Lawson. After Two-Boots rescued Rylee, they evaded Rheena Sul's imperial trap while Maul accepted an offer from Dryden Vos to provide him safe passage off Janix. Reaching out to Izara through the Force, Maul proposed a temporary alliance, and the group traveled together through the city's underground passages while pursued by the Inquisitors. After fighting through Imperial forcesand escaping the sewers, they entered the swamps beyond the city, where Darth Vader intercepted them.

Maul, Daki and Izara confronted Vader to allow the others to continue toward Vos' rendezvous point. During the fighting, Maul urged Daki and Izara to use the Dark Side of the Force to stand a chance against the Sith Lord, while Izara dueled the First and Eleventh Brothers. Daki defeated the First Brother by knocking him off the bridge, before joining Maul against Vader. Realizing he could not win, Maul pushed Daki into Vader's path and fled to aid Izara. Left to face Vader alone, Daki fought desperately and even managed to wound Vader's shoulder before being killed. Witnessing her master's death, an enraged Izara attacked the Eleventh Brother but was disarmed until Maul arrived, gave her half of his saber and helped drive the Inquisitor away. After Brander Lawson sacrificed himself to ensure the others escaped aboard Vos' shuttle, Maul, Izara, Rylee Lawson, Looti Vario and 2B0T fled Janix, with Izara becoming Maul's apprentice.
