Lehesu

Lehesu was a male Oswaft who, during the Imperial Era, became one of the first of his species to ever set forth from the ThonBoka nebula. Driven by a curiosity uncustomary of his space-dwelling race, Lehesu made the first recorded contact between an Oswaft and another sentient lifeform in 3 BBY, when he encountered the starship Millennium Falcon while traveling the Open Sea. His travels caught the attention of the Galactic Empire, however, which sent a fleet to blockade and starve the Oswaft. Lehesu's plea for help was answered by the Millennium Falcon, and together they played a pivotal role in fighting off the Imperial force.
