Pyke was a corporal Imperial Army trooper that served the Galactic Empire in their Imperial Supply Census on the planet Mina-Rau in 4 BBY. Part of Lieutenant Krole's contingent, he drove a transport for them and chauffeured Krole to a mobil-haus, where the lieutenant tried to force himself on the undocumented mechanic Bix Caleen. When Krole's advances ended fatally for him, Pyke called for help and tried to confront Caleen. Another undocumented mechanic, Wilmon Paak, fired on Pyke, leading to a short firefight in which the corporal was gunned down by Caleen.
