Stang (individual)

Stang was an Imperial Army trooper in the Galactic Empire, and a sergeant in a contingent led by Lieutenant Krole during an Imperial Supply Census on the planet Mina-Rau in 4 BBY. When the contingent moved into a new council, Krole left Stang in charge at a general store while he went to take advantage of an undocumented worker. While there, Stang saw the stormtroopers under him apprehend the undocumented worker Brasso.

Not long afterward, Corporal Pyke called in from Krole's transport to ask for help. Unable to get any response from the corporal, Stang gathered some reinforcements to help the pair. As they moved out on their transport, a TIE Avenger prototype flew overhead. While the sergeant thought it was on their side, the TIE, flown by the rebel spy Cassian Andor, fired a torpedo at the transport, destroying it with Stang.
