R5-X2

R5-X2 was an R5-series astromech droid owned by Marlo the Hutt before ownership of it was transferred to crime lord Jabba the Hutt. The droid frequently traveled with it's new owner and was used to calculate odds of gambling events. During Podraces, R2-X2 would recalculate Jabba's potential winnings and later report them.

In 32 BBY, the droid accompanied Jabba to the palace of Gardulla the Hutt on the planet Tatooine to determine the odds of the upcoming Boonta Eve Classic Podrace. Gardulla's computer analyzer predicted that racer Gasgano would win the race. R5-X2, however, had determined the racer Sebulba would win, with a small chance the racer Anakin Skywalker could win. The droid later stayed by Jabba during the race, which Skywalker finished first in.
