During the Dark Wars, she did transport work for the criminal Exchange organization and was in possession of a rare Qixoni crystal used in the constuction of lightsabers.

In 3951 BBY, she was in the city of Iziz on the Inner Rim planet Onderon, tasked to transport permacrete explosives for the Exchange, who would use the devices to permanently deal with competition and local authorities. Sakarie, however, could not leave the city without a starport visa, a result of the ongoing Onderon Civil War. While the exiled Jedi Meetra Surik visited Iziz on a search for Jedi Master Kavar, Sakarie spent time in the cantina in the city's western square.
