Baron Shkan-Shkan Yew was a ruler of a little-known Nothoiin colony world and one of the galaxy's wealthiest men in 19 BBY, thanks to family investments on several industries such as plastoid manufacturing. Yew had minority stakes in half of all public megacorporations.
In 19 BBY, the baron met with Senator Mon Mothma, along with Arvik Cornade and Hasalia Prederiko in the Coruscant moon Hesperidium to discuss Mothma's Imperial Rebirth Act.
