Stone (clone trooper)

Stone, designated by the number CC-5869, was a clone trooper commander in the Grand Army of the Republic's Coruscant Guard during the Clone Wars. In 22 BBY, Stone, together with some of his Coruscant Guard clone troopers, the Gran Senator Kharrus, and the Gungan Representative Jar Jar Binks, were sent to the planet Florrum. The Republic group was to deliver a ransom in the form of spice to Weequay pirate leader Hondo Ohnaka, who was holding captive the Separatist leader Count Dooku. However, they were betrayed by some of the pirates, and their shuttle was shot down over Florrum, where the pirate base was located.

The impact of the crash killed the shuttle's two pilots and Kharrus, leaving Binks as the highest-ranking officer. Although the group was attacked by the pirates and initially lost the ransom, Binks, Stone, and their men chased down the pirates and retrieved the spice by killing nearly all the pirates in a blasterfight. However, when the Republic group reached the pirate base, Dooku had already escaped. Stone, his squad, and Binks, along with Jedi Generals Anakin Skywalker and Obi-Wan Kenobi—who had also been captured by the pirates—then left Florrum in the Twilight, the Jedi's ship.
