Stybla family

The Stybla family was a Chiss family and one of the forty Great Families of the Chiss Ascendancy. By the time of the Clone Wars, the Styblas were known as efficient shippers and merchants. In prior times, the Stybla family had been more powerful; and was once one of the Chiss Ruling Families. According to the history student Coduyo'po'nekri, there had been a time in the history of the Ascendancy when the Stybla family was the only Ruling Family.

The Stybla, being one of the Great Families, made up for their lack of political power within the Ascendancy through extensive knowledge and information on everything they could lay their hands on. Stybla'rsi'omli was a Junior Commander in the Chiss Expansionary Defense Fleet, stationed aboard the Vigilant, and Supreme General Ba'kif had been part of the Stybla family before he got promoted to a flag officer military rank.
