Trios

Trios was a human female monarch who ruled the Kingdom of Shu-Torun during the Imperial Era and the Galactic Civil War. Born into the Shu-Torun royal family, Trios was a princess and the youngest child of the King of Shu-Torun.

In the aftermath of the Battle of Yavin, Trios and her elder siblings, Prince Monthan and Princess Hollian, participated in the king's plan to assassinate the Sith Lord Darth Vader during his tour of the Shu-Torun royal palace. Their plan failed, resulting in the deaths of Trios' father and her siblings. The Dark Lord of the Sith kept Trios alive; as the sole-surviving child of the late king, she inherited her father's crown and was anointed as queen of Shu-Torun. With her accession to the throne, Trios became a vassal of the Galactic Empire.

The succession of Queen Trios was soon challenged by the ore-dukes of her homeworld, resulting in a planetary civil war known as the Shu-Torun War. With the support of Vader and the Imperial Military, the Shu-Torun Loyalist/Imperial Delving Fleet achieved a decisive victory over the rebellious nobles, killing Duke Rubix and bringing the volcanic, resource-rich planet under Trios' control.

Trios remained loyal to the Empire during its conflict with the Alliance to Restore the Republic. Serving as the Empire's spy, the queen infiltrated the Alliance and gained the trust of the Alderaanian princess Leia Organa. During the Battle of Mako-Ta, Organa discovered Trios' true loyalties and sought retribution by plotting an attack on Shu-Torun. Trios was ultimately killed by Organa while attempting to prevent the Rebels from destroying the Spike, the backbone of her planet's infrastructure.
